For the past few years, much of
our focus has been on curriculum standards and benchmarks.
At the same time we know that many aspects of the language arts can't
be easily standardized or tested.
This year's conference is about how we teach our students to make
reading, writing, speaking,
and listening a rich part of their daily lives.
